The floating shelf is made using a lightweight construction method that makes it extremely sturdy despite its low weight. We have developed a unique internal steel bracket system to ensure high load capacity. Simply mount the brackets on the wall and slide the floating shelf onto the brackets. You will need some physical strength to turn the screws into the wood but the end effect will be a strong load-bearing connection.
